MOBIC Configurator
Your MOBIC has a configuration tool with which you can make specific settings for
your MOBIC. The MOBIC Configurator consists of the following components:
S Memory overview and utilization
S Trace module configuration
S Error module configuration
S Function key assignment
S Overview of installed software
S Disabling the on/off button
S Backup/restore of the registry in the user flash
S Warm reset
S Format internal disk
S Enable/disable additional 5 V/200 mA power supply on pin 9 of the RS-232 port.
Starting
1. Tap on Start -> Programs -> Tools -> ConfigTool
After you start the MOBIC Configurator, a window appears (see
Figure 7-4) with the following six tabs:

These tabs are assigned to the components listed above.
Online Help
The MOBIC Configurator has an online help system with descriptions of all the
specific MOBIC settings that you can refer to at any time.
To start:
