Opening the battery door
Your handset battery is preinstalled. If you need to remove or insert
the battery, follow the steps below.
To remove or insert the handset battery:
1. Remove the three screws on the battery door.
2. Lift up the bottom of the battery door to remove it.
3. To remove the battery: Lift the end of the battery nearest the top of
the handset, and unplug the battery connector from the socket.
4. To insert the battery: Plug the battery connector securely into the
socket. Place the battery inside the handset battery compartment.
5. Hold the battery door at an angle and align the three notches at
the top of the battery compartment. Push the bottom of the battery
door down until it clicks into place.
6. Tighten the three screws to secure the battery door.
