Battery charging The handset screen indicates the battery status (see the table below). If necessary, place the handset in the charger to charge the battery. For best performance, keep the handset in the charger when not in use. The battery is fully charged after 11 hours of continuous charging.

Opening the battery door Your handset battery is preinstalled. If you need to remove or insert the battery, follow the steps below. To remove or insert the handset battery: 1. Remove the three screws on the battery door. 2. Lift up the bottom of the battery door to remove it. 3.
Handset Registration Registering the handset to the base station The handset is pre-registered to the base station. If the handset becomes deregistered, perform the registration procedure as follows. To register the handset: 1. Make sure the handset has a charged battery before proceeding. Make sure the base station is connected to power.

Deregistering the handset Before using the handset with a different base station, you must deregister the handset from the base station to which it is currently registered. To deregister the handset: 1. Press MENU on the handset. The Main Menu appears. 2.
