SOURCE UNIT PREPARATION

This applies to non-Ride Command-equipped vehicles. If your RZR is equipped with the Ride Command
system, you will use that as the vehicle's source unit and this requires additional purchase of two adapters
(part number RC1-2RCA-F ) to provide signal and turn-on to the MB Quart amplifiers. The MB Quart source
unit is not required to be used in Ride Command-equipped applications.
Make sure you have removed the metal clip from the OEM dash pocket
mentioned in the disassembly section of this manual. It's required for mounting
the new source unit mount to the RZR. See Figure 16-1.

STEP 1 – PREPARE MOUNTING COMPONENTS
Working on your bench or another flat surface, ensure
you have all the necessary hardware to install the
source unit into the dash plate adapter shown in Figure
16-2. Refer to the manual included in the source unit for
detailed mounting instructions.

\STEP 2 – MOUNT SOURCE UNIT USING BRACKET
Insert the long threaded bolts with the molded bolt closest to the source unit. When set face down, the
source unit should look like Figure 16-3a. Once the mounting bolts are secured, place the source unit
through the opening of the pocket replacement panel.
Next secure the bracket over the bolts and thread on the
remaining nuts to snug the bracket against the back side
of the panel as shown in Figure 16-3b.
STEP 3 – MOVE METAL CLIP TO SOURCE MOUNT
Locate the OEM metal clip from the dash pocket and
move it to the top side of the source unit's mounting
adapter assembly as shown in Figure 16-4.
