ERX-7xx Models

NOTE: In the E-series documentation, the term ERX-7xx models refers to both the
ERX-705 router and the ERX-710 router. The terms ERX-705 router and ERX-710
router refer to the specific models. See Figure 6 and Figure 7.
The ERX-7xx models are robust, high-density routers with less capacity
than the ERX-14xx models. The ERX-7xx models use either the
SRP-10G module or the SRP-5G module.
You can configure the ERX-7xx models to enable the line modules to operate either
at full line rate performance or at a rate dependent on the resources available. For
information about configuring performance of line modules, see JUNOSe System
Basics Configuration Guide, Chapter 5, Managing Line Modules and SRP Modules.
NOTE: The 10-Gbps SRP module used in the ERX-310 router is different from the
10-Gbps SRP module used in the ERX-710 router. See "SRP Module" on page 11
for more information.
