Rear Wheel Installation
To install the rear wheel, reverse the
removal procedure.
1. Install the rear axle shaft, side collars
and rear wheel to the swingarm.
Make sure that the "Lug" (1) on the
"Brake Caliper Bracket" (2) is located in
the "Slot" (3) in the "Swingarm" (4).

2. Install the drive chain over the driven
sprocket.
3. Install the rear axle nut.
4. Adjust the drive chain (page 57).
5. Tighten the rear axle nut to the specified
torque:
88 N·m (9.0 kgf·m , 65 lbf·ft)
When installing the wheel, carefully fit the
brake disc between the brake pads to avoid
damaging the pads.
After installing the wheel, apply the brake

several times and then check if the wheel
rotates freely. Recheck the wheel if the
brake drags or if the wheel does not rotate
freely.
If a torque wrench is not used for
installation,
dealer as soon as possible to verify proper
assembly. Improper assembly may reduce
braking efficiency.
