CRANKCASE BREATHER

Refer to the
Safety Precautions on page 45.
1. Remove the "Crankcase Breather Tube
Plug" (1) from the tube and drain
deposits into a suitable container.
2. Reinstall the crankcase breather tube
plug.
Service more frequently when riding in rain
or at full throttle.

THROTTLE OPERATION

Refer to the Safety Precautions on page 45.
1. Check
for
smooth
throttle grip from the fully open to the
fully
closed
steering positions.
2. Measure the throttle grip free play at
the throttle grip flange.
The standard free play should be
approximately:
2-6 mm (0.1-0.2 in)
To adjust the free play, slide the "Throttle
Cable Boot" (1), then loosen the "Lock Nut"
(2) and turn the "Adjuster" (3).
After adjustment, tighten the lock nut and
return the throttle cable boot securely.
