Note:
Many hydraulic fluids are almost colorless,
making it difficult to spot leaks. A red dye additive
for the hydraulic fluid is available in 20 ml (2/3 fl oz)
bottles. One bottle is sufficient for 15 to 22 L (4 to
6 US gallons) of hydraulic fluid. Order part number
44-2500 from your Authorized Toro Distributor.
1.
Park the machine on a level surface, lower the
attachment, engage the parking brake, shut off
the engine, and remove the key.

Look at the opening in each of the fluid-reservoir
brackets, and check the level of the hydraulic
fluid.
Note:
The fluid level should be at the bottom of
each of the openings, as shown in
Figure 17

If the fluid level is low in either of the reservoirs,
add fluid as follows:
cSt @ 40°C (104°F) 55 to 62
140 to 152
-37°C to -43°C (-35°F to -46°F)

Clean the area around the fluid-reservoir
caps to prevent debris from entering the
system
(Figure

Remove the caps from the reservoirs.

Slowly fill the reservoir with the appropriate
hydraulic fluid until the level reaches the
bottom of the openings in the brackets.
Important:
contamination, clean the top of the fluid
container before opening it. Ensure that
the pour spout and the funnel are clean.

Checking the Tire Pressure

Service Interval: Before each use or daily
Park the machine on a level surface, lower the
attachment, engage the parking brake, shut off the
engine, and remove the key.
Check the tire pressure before operating the machine
(Figure
18).
Pressure: 48 kPa (7 psi)
