When operated with 12 V, the refrigerator draws power only from the starter
battery of the vehicle. The starter battery only supplies the refrigerator with
12 V when the vehicle engine is running. If the vehicle engine is switched off,
the cooling no longer operates. However the refrigerator continues to operate
via the transformer/rectifier with a control voltage from the living room area
battery. For this reason, change over to gas operation during prolonged driving
breaks.
Further information can be obtained from the separate instruction manual
"Refrigerator".

Refrigerator door locking mechanism

During the journey the refrigerator door must always be closed and locked
in the closed position.
Lock the refrigerator door in ventilation position when the refrigerator is
switched off. This prevents mould forming.
There are two positions for locking the refrigerator door in place:
Closed refrigerator door during travel and when the refrigerator is in
operation
Slightly opened refrigerator door as a ventilation position when the
refrigerator is switched off
