COMISSION AND FIRST USE - after unwrap the product should be inspected in conformity with the inspection
recomendationpointed in General Rules ... chapter. The Identity Card must be filled.
PERIODICAL INSPECTIONS - after every 12 month of usage annual inspection must be carried out by
person
according the detailed recommendation included in General Rules chapter. The result of inspection must be
recorded in product Identity Cards included below.
STORAGE - the AZ800 Roof Lanyard should be stored
temperature
and protected against dust, sharp objects, extreme temperatures and caustic substances.
usage the product must be stored in manufacturer package.
CLEANING - clean the AZ800 with wet cloth. Do not use any acid or basic solvents. After cleaning the product may be
dried away from any fire or source of heat.
REPAIRS - it is strictly forbidden to make any repairs and modifications to the product yourself. Any repairs or
modification should be done by a autorised service/ person.
TRANSPORT- the AZ800 should be transported in the package (for example: impregnated textile, foil bag or plastic,
steel box) to avoid moisture, mechanical and chemical or others defects .
IDENTITY CARD
IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE USER ORGANISATION TO PROVIDE THE IDENTITY CARD AND TO FILL IN THE DETAILS REQUIRED. THE
IDENTITY CARD SHOULD BE FILLED IN ONLY BY A COMPETENT PERSON RESPONSIBLE FOR PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT. THE IDENTITY
CARD SHOULD BE FILLED IN BEFORE THE FIRST USE OF THE EQUIPMENT. ANY INFORMATION ABOUT THE EQUIPMENT LIKE: PERIODIC
INSPECTIONS, REPAIRS, REASONS OF EQUIPMENT'S WITHDRAWN FROM USE SHALL BE NOTED. THE IDENTITY CARD SHOULD BE
STORAGED DURING A WHOLE PERIOD OF EQUIPMENT UTILIZATION. DO NOT USE THE EQUIPMENT WITHOUT THE IDENTITY CARD.

DESCRIPTION
The
AZ 800
Roof Lanyard is a special category of personal equipment against falls from a height, especially intended for roof
work where risk of fall over an edge egsist. The product conforms to EN354 standard and additionally
for horizontal use and drop over an edge, according to VG11 CNB/P/11.060 sheet. The product is described on the fig.1

OPERATING LIMITATIONS
The AZ800 Roof Lanyard can be used only with the CR200 or CR300 - PROTEKT EN360 retractable type fall
arresters. Do not use on any other device and never use AZ800 when the PROTEKT EN360 is used at
vertical.

DATE
The set to be composed of the PROTEKT EN360 fall arrester + AZ800 Roof Lanyard may be used over similar
edges as follows: rolled steel profiles, wooden beams or clad, rounded roof parapet. In case of very cutting type
edge or free of burrs (such as unclad roof rusty steel girder or a sharp concrete edge) an edge protector should be
mounted.
TIME OF USE
Roof lanyard AZ 800 can be used for 5 years counting from a date of putting it into operation. After this period the
device must be withdrawn from use to carry out detailed manufacturer's inspection.
The inspection can be carried out by: - manufacturer; - or person recommended by the manufacturer; - or company
recommended by manufacturer.
During this inspection will be established admissible time of use of roof lanyard till next manufacturer's inspection.
Roof lanyard must be withdrawn from use immediately and destroyed when it has been used to arrest a fall.
