Removing/Replacing
Canister Filter
Dust

may cause cancer, birth
defects, or long-term respi-
ratory
wear goggles and a NIOSH-
approved respirator when
working with the dust col-
lection bags or canisters.
If the canister filter is clogged or dirty and cleaning
it does not improve dust-collection performance,
the canister filter must be replaced.

To remove and replace canister filter:
1.
DISCONNECT MACHINE FROM POWER!

Release bag clamp, then remove filter bag
(see Figure 63).
IMPORTANT: To contain wood dust and
minimize exposure risk, firmly tie bag closed
after removal and dispose of properly.
