Supported network types
The CP makes telecontrol communication possible for the various telecontrol protocols via
the network types listed below.
Connection via the Ethernet interface of the CP:
● IP-based communication via the Ethernet interface
Supported protocols: ST7, DNP3, IEC
– Industrial Ethernet
– Internet
– IP-based wireless network
● Classic WAN communication via the serial interface
Supported protocols: ST7
With communication via the network types listed below, in addition to the CP a TS
module, modem or router must be used.
