Properties of the CP or proxy "PROXY CP1243-8"
Like a TIM 3V-IE Advanced the proxy supports parallel connection to two WAN networks via
the serial and the Ethernet interface. Both interfaces of the proxy can be configured.
Compared with the TIM 3V-IE Advanced, the proxy or CP has the following differences:
● Station
The interfaces of the proxy can only be configured as station. Use as a node station or
master station is not possible. This is expressed in the STEP 7 properties dialog:
● "Time" tab
The proxy can only be configured as a time slave. The function of time master is not
supported.
