Vehicle features and
options
This chapter describes all standard, country-spe‐
cific and optional features offered with the series.
It also describes features that are not necessarily
available in your vehicle, e. g., due to the selected
options or country versions. This also applies to
safety-related functions and systems. When us‐
ing these functions and systems, the applicable
laws and regulations must be observed.
General information
Video files and, depending on the vehicle equip‐
ment, video DVDs can be played. Sound is
played back through the vehicle loudspeakers.
Settings are stored for the driver profile currently
used.
The video image on the front Control Display is
switched off when a country-dependent speed is
exceeded.
Depending on the vehicle equipment, the follow‐
ing video sources are available.

General information
Depending on the USB storage device, video
playback may not be possible via the USB port.

Selecting the USB storage
device
Connect the USB storage device to the USB in‐
terface using a suitable adapter cable.

Owner's Manual for the vehicle.

Searching for videos
1.
Move the Controller to the left.

"Media search"

"Videos"
A list of all available videos is displayed.
4.
Select the track at which playback should be‐
gin.
Information on playback appears on the Con‐
trol Display. The playback list corresponds to
the list of films resulting from the search.
Video DVD
Country codes
Only DVDs with the country code selected dur‐
ing vehicle ordering can be played. Refer to the
information on the CD as well.
