OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Valor 10 Electronic Ignition Remote Control System
For use with Valor heaters model 1500, 1600, 1700, 1800, 2100 and 2200K
Remote Control Initial Pairing
The receiver and the handset of the remote control
system must be initially paired before the fi rst use.
(Note that batteries must already be installed in the wall
mounted battery holder)
1. Insert two 1.5 V AAA alkaline batteries in the handset.
2. Locate the Reset button on the front side of the re-
ceiver.
3. With a thin object, press and hold the receiver's RESET
button until you hear one short and one long beeps.
After the second beep, release the reset button.
4. Within the subsequent 20 seconds, press and hold the
button on the remote handset.

You will hear two short beeps confi rming the pairing
is done.
If you hear one long beep, the pairing sequence has failed
or the wiring is incorrect.
This is a one time pairing only and is not required when
changing the batteries of the handset or battery holder.
The remote control system is now ready to use.
