Select the System soft key to view the global directory.
3. Use the Next or Prev soft keys to navigate the list of contacts.

Making a call from the directory

Use the following procedure to make calls directly from the local or global directories.
Procedure
1. Select either a local or global directory entry from the Contacts menu using the Select soft
key.
The handset displays the entry information.
2. Press the Send soft key to make a call to the selected contact. If you want to add a prefix
dial number, press the Prefix soft key instead.
Press the Cancel or Back soft keys to return to the main menu.
While sending the call information to the base station, the handset display reads Calling:
followed by the contact's call number. You can then operate the call as you normally would.

Adding contacts

You can only add contacts to the local directory. Use the following procedure to add contacts.
Procedure
1. In the Idle state, press the Dir soft key.
2. Select either the local (My) or global (System) directory.
3. Press the More.. soft key followed by the New soft key.
The display prompts you to enter user information.
4. Enter the user name and press the OK soft key.
The >> soft key moves the cursor forward. The Del soft key performs a backspace on the
previous letter.
