Replacing Fans

Note. You can order a new fan using ICC part number 131-100014Q00.
Three fans provide cooling for the unit by circulating air through the chassis. The fans are hot-swappable
and can be replaced without powering-down the system.
Identifying a Faulty Fan
You can observe the
Front Panel LEDs
chassis while power is on to determine which of the three fans needs to be replaced.
Note: Do not run the system with the chassis cover off for an extended period of time.
1. Press the release tab on top of the failed fan to unlock it. Pull the fan completely out of the chassis.
2. Put a new fan into the space where you removed the failed fan. Make sure the arrows on the top of
the new fan point in the same direction as the arrows on the other fans in the unit.
The fan will begin to run automatically.
