Nexio AMP® Gen-7 Installing Hard Drive Trays
Installing a Hard Drive into a Carrier
Insert a drive into the carrier with the PCB side facing down and the connector end toward the rear of
the carrier.
Place the drive unit into the carrier so that the mounting holes are aligned.
Secure the drive to the carrier with four screws. Use the four M3 flat-head screws included in the HDD
bag of your accessory box. Note that the screws used to secure the blank drive to the tray cannot be
used to install a hard drive.
Insert the hard drive and the drive carrier vertically into its drive bay. Keep the carrier oriented so that
the release button is on the bottom. When you push the drive to the back of the bay, the release handle
will retract.
