Possible cause and remedy
The cup sensor is not inserted or is incorrectly
inserted.
The stainless steel cover of the central spout was not
fitted properly, e.g. is tilting forwards slightly.
If the central spout is moving upwards and the cup
sensor is bumped, e.g. with a cup, the cup sensor
loses its reference position.
 Confirm the message with OK.
 Switch the machine off with the On/Off  sensor.
Wait for at least 30 minutes before switching the
machine back on again. Alternatively, disconnect
the appliance from the electricity supply by
switching off at the wall socket and withdrawing
the power plug, or switching off the mains circuit
breaker.
 Refit the cup sensor.
 Refit the stainless steel cover. Make sure the cover
is seated correctly.
The bean system must be set up again, e.g. coffee
beans have possibly got jammed.
 Switch the machine off with the On/Off  sensor.
Wait for 30 minutes before switching the machine
back on again.
