6.3.1

About pulse waveform

The ELEPO21 output pulse waveform from DC voltage is exponential-square. This ELEPO21
electroporation system makes it possible to set and apply an appropriate pulse voltage, pulse length
and pulse interval for transfection into each sample. This facilitates higher transfection efficiency and
higher sample viability without the need for or recourse to expensive disposable kits and special buffers.
For the low voltage transfection to suspension cells, the output pulse will be automatically decayed
because the impedance value is low (see left below figure). For the high voltage transfection to yeasts
