Connecting the measuring unit

Terminal compartment
Three housings are available:
• Aluminium housing F12 with additionally sealed terminal compartment for:
– standard,
– Ex ia.
• Aluminium housing T12 with separate terminal compartment for:
– standard,
– Ex e,
– Ex d
– Ex ia (with overvoltage protection).
• Stainless steel 316L (1.4435) housing F23 for:
– standard,
– Ex ia.
After mounting, the housing can be turned 350° in order to simplify access to the display and the
terminal compartment.

The device data are given on the nameplate together with important information regarding the
analog output and voltage supply.

Load HART
Minimum load for Hart communication: 250 Ω
Ground connection
It is necessary to make a good ground connection to the ground terminal on the outside of the
housing, in order to achieve EMC security.
