The Fundamentals How Does the BrightLink™ Interactive Projector Work? The BrightLink™ Interactive Projector works with or without a computer to make just about any surface an interactive learning space. The BrightLink™ Interactive Projector offers a variety of interactive options. You can use the available interactive modes to open and close applications, write notes in digital ink, conference with others, create new documents or edit existing ones, visit websites, play and manipulate video clips, and more.

Easy Interactive Tools v3.05 Download Windows® Operating System 1. Go to http://www.epson.com/cgi- bin/Store/support/supDetail.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&oid=248009&prodoid=63098425&inf oType=Downloads&platform=All 2. The website will attempt to detect your operating system automatically. 3. Select Easy Interactive Tools v3.05 from the utilities. 4. Select Download. 5. Fill in all of the required information on the next screen and select Download Now.

8. Follow the on-screen prompts, selecting Next after you have filled out any required information. 9. You can choose to Register to Startup and add a shortcut to your desktop. Select Install. 10. The next pop-up will appear after a successful installation.
How Does the BrightLink™ 595 Wi Interactive Projector Work? Connections The BrightLink™ projects an image on a flat, smooth, rigid surface such as a whiteboard. You can connect to a computer and have the image on the computer displayed on the board by the BrightLink using a USB and a VGA or HDMI cable.
How Does the BrightLink™ Interactive Projector Work? Getting Started The BrightLink™ interactive projector is very easy to use! Simply turn on the projector, interactive pens, and computer and the system is ready to go. To turn on the BrightLink™ projector: 1.

How Does the BrightLink™ Interactive Projector Work? Interactive Modes: PC Free and PC Interactive The BrightLink™ interactive projector turns any flat surface into an interactive whiteboard, either with or without a computer. There are two Interactive Modes: PC Interactive Mode and PC Free Mode. PC Free Mode In PC Free Mode, you can use the pens or your finger to write or draw on the projection surface simultaneously without connecting a computer.

3. Replace the battery cover, pressing down until it clicks. To turn on an interactive pen: 1. Tap the pen tip or press the power/function button. 2. The battery light will flash briefly, then turn off. If it continues to flash, the battery is low.

Interactive Pen Calibration Before you begin using the BrightLink™ interactive projector, you will need to perform a calibration to coordinate the position of the interactive pen with the location of the cursor. You only need to perform the calibration the first time you use the interactive features of the projector.

4. Adjust the image focus if necessary. 5. Press Enter to select Yes. A flashing green circle will appear in the upper left corner of your projected image. 6. Touch the center of the circle with the tip of the pen. The circle will disappear and you will see another circle appear below the first one.
How Does the BrightLink™ Interactive Projector Work? Finger Touch Interactivity After the BrightLink™ 595Wi Touch Unit is installed you can use your finger just like you would use the interactive pens. Using finger touch interactivity will allow you to use your finger as a mouse, and you will also be able to perform touch gestures such as zooming and rotating.

Finger Touch Interactivity Calibration Before you begin using the BrightLink™ interactive projector with the Touch Unit, you will need to perform a calibration to coordinate the position of your finger with the location of the cursor. How Does the BrightLink™ Interactive Projector Work? Using Finger Touch Interactivity Once your Touch Unit is installed, it will be automatically turned on when you turn on the BrightLink. The blue light on the Touch Unit will remain on. In PC Mode, your finger will take the place of the mouse at your computer.

To interact at the BrightLink using a finger in PC Interactive Mode: 1. To left-click, tap the board with your finger. 2. To double-click, tap twice. 3. To right-click, press the interactive surface for about three seconds. 4. To drag and drop, press on and drag an object with your finger, then release.
How Does the BrightLink™ Interactive Projector Work? Drawing Modes: Whiteboard and Annotation Mode Easy Interactive Tools provides two drawing modes: Whiteboard Mode and Annotation Mode. Drawing Toolbar – Pens You can use of the predefined pens on the toolbar or choose a specific color. To write and draw using an interactive pen: 1. Select the pen icon from the drawing toolbar. 2. Select the drop-down arrow next to the pen icon to change the pen color and thickness.
Drawing Toolbar - Shapes Select the Shape icon to insert a shape in Whiteboard Mode or Annotation Mode. To create a shape: 1. Select the Shape icon on the Drawing Toolbar. The Shape menu will open. 2. Choose which of the available shapes you would like to insert.
Drawing Toolbar – Add Text You can select the Add Text icon to insert text. To insert text: 1. Select the Add Text icon from the Drawing Toolbar. 2. Crosshairs will appear to allow you to create a text box. Drag the crosshairs until the text box is the desired size.
Touch Keyboard When you’re not creating a text box and want to insert text into a search field you can also launch the keyboard. To use the Touch Keyboard: 1. Select the Additional Tools icon on the Command Bar in Whiteboard Mode or Annotation Mode to open the Tool Panel.

You can annotate over the internet, PDF files, and software CDs using Easy Interactive Tools. You can also create and save files to use at a later time.

Edit Text The Edit feature appears when you select a text object. It allows you to make changes to the text including changing spelling, adding additional text, and changing features of the text and text box, like color and style. To use the Edit feature: 1.
Grouping Objects The Group option allows two or more objects to be moved and manipulated as one. To group two or more objects together: 1. Select two or more objects by selecting the cursor, then pressing and dragging a finger or pen diagonally across both objects.
Ordering Objects Each object added using Easy Interactive Tools will be layered on top of any objects added previously, much like adding a piece of paper to a stack. The order of objects on the page can be modified using the drop-down menu options Bring to Front, Send to Back, Bring Forward, and Send Backward.
