e. Assign the remote (press any
button).
f. Assign a radio Hold Up Alarm
(HUA) Press both orange
buttons. Press  if there is no
HUA.
5. To assign a remote to the master
user, select Edit User , then:
a. Select User 001 .
b. Select Remote .
c. Press any button on the remote.
Step 8: Configure or disable
communications
You need to do one of the following:
• If you are connecting the control
unit to an Alarms Receiving Centre
(ARC), configure communications
as described in the Engineering
Guide .
• If you are not using an ARC,
disable communications as
follows. (If you do not do this,
the navigation key will remain
permanently red to indicate an
alert state.)
From the top level of the Installer
menu:
a. Select Communications .
b. Select ARC Reporting .
c. Select Call Mode .
d. Select Disabled .
e. If you select Call Mode again,
you will see a * before Disabled
to indicate that this is the
selected option.
Basic configuration of the control unit
is now complete. Please refer to the
Engineering Guide or Admin & User
Manual (which can be downloaded
from www.touchpoint-online.co.uk) if
you need further information.
Step 9: Configure
SecureConnect™
SecureConnect allows users to set
or unset the alarm system, switch
outputs on or off and perform other
functions from a mobile device. If
users require this feature, please
configure SecureConnect as described
in the SecureConnect Installer Guide
(which can be downloaded from www.
touchpoint-online.co.uk).
