Step 2: Enter installer mode
Installer mode gives you access to
the installer options. To enter installer
mode:
1. Make sure the standby screen is
displayed (see the previous page).
2. Enter the installer code you
created.
3. If you are prompted for a user
code, enter that too.
4. The bottom line displays Detectors/
Devices , which is the first option in
the menu:

How to select options
To select an option, press u or n (on
the Navigation key) until the name of
the option you want is displayed, then
press .
Selecting an option may display a
menu of further options. For example,
selecting Detectors/Devices displays
the first option in the Detectors/
Devices menu ( Detectors ):
DETECTORS/DEVICES
Detectors
Press to exit a menu or to cancel an
action.
Some options require you to press
or to change the setting.
Note: A menu map of all installer
options is available on page 6.
Step 3: Add door contacts
(DET-RDC) or PIRs (XCELRPT)
1. Open the cover of the door contact
or PIR and insert the battery.

2. Close the cover.
3. From the top level of the Installer
menu:
a. Select Detectors/Devices .
b. Select Detectors .
c. Select Add/Del Detectors .
d. Use u or n to choose a zone
number, then press (each
door contact and PIR needs
a different zone number). The
display shows:
Activate
detector tamper
4. Open the cover of the door contact
or PIR.
5. The display shows "Detector
assigned to Zone xxx" and the
signal strength (0-9). Each zone
represents one device.
6. Repeat the above steps for each
door contact and PIR.
Step 4: Add external radio
sirens (SDR-REXT-G2)
Please refer to the installation
instructions provided with the siren.
At the step where you need to teach
the control unit the siren's identity:
1. Make sure that the batteries are
not connected.
2. From the top level of the Installer
menu:
a. Select Detectors/Devices .
b. Select External Sirens .
c. Select Add/Del Siren .
d. Select a siren number (each
siren needs a different number).
The display shows:
Activate
Siren Tamper
