Crusher Panel Up Proximity Switch Test (if equipped)
: This test only applies to units equipped with a lifting bucket.

OTE
Successful completion of this test ensures that the bucket operation is disabled when the crusher
panel is not in its stowed position.
For this test, proceed as follows:
Start the truck.
1.
Engage the hydraulic pump (see Hydraulic Pump Switch on page 70).
2.
If it is not already done, fully lower the bucket.
3.
Lower the crusher panel using the auxiliary packer control station (see Auxiliary Packer Control

Station on page 75).
Try to raise the bucket with the bucket control button on the auxiliary packer control station.

: If you use the joystick to raise the bucket, the simple press on the deadman switch (see Figure

3-27) will cause the crusher panel to rise.
If the bucket tilts beyond 45° against its stowed position while the crusher panel is down, the

Crusher Panel Up proximity switch (see Figure 2-14) may need to be adjusted or replaced. Refer

Arm Parked Limit Switch Test
Successful completion of this test ensures that the crusher panel (if equipped) will not move when
the gripper/bucket is parked in the hopper.
For this test, proceed as follows:
