Putting the Tailgate Safety Prop Back in Place
To put the tailgate safety prop back in its home position:
Start the engine.
1.
Turn the pump ON (see Hydraulic Pump Switch on page 70).
2.
Raise the tailgate by about 3 feet (see Tailgate Up Switch on page 71).
3.
Raise the tailgate safety prop (see Figure 2-6).

Release your grip on the safety prop to set it in its home position.
