Use the following procedure to determine where to go in this
Chapter. Find the dump condition in the table and go to the
associated step.
Dump Conditions
A c6 and an abend code are
alternately displayed in the
two-digit display.
You want to start the VRM
Dump.
Dump is started from VRM
debugger.
A PANIC message was
displayed on the screen.
You want to start the Kernel
dump.
A core file was created.
System appears to be hung (no
work can be done, no response
from commands or interrupt
keys).
You are instructed to take a
Full Image dump.
