Error Messages on the CD/MD Discs

When a malfunction occurs in a CD or MD changer, an alarm is sounded and one of
the following error messages flashes for about five seconds.
Message Cause
Blank* The MD is blank.
Error* The CD is inserted upside down.
The CD is dirty.
The MD does not play for some
reason.
High Temp The surrounding temperature has
risen to 50°C and playback becomes
impossible.
NO Disc There is no disc in the magazine.
NG Discs None of the discs in the magazine can
be played.
No Magazine There is no magazine in the changer.
Not Ready The door of the MD changer is not
locked.
There is no CD or MD.
Push Reset The changer does not operate
for some reason.
Remedy
Replace with a recorded MD.
Insert the CD correctly.
Clean the CD.
Replace the MD.
Wait until the temperature falls.
Insert a disc or discs into the
magazine.
Replace the discs with others.
Insert discs into the magazine and
load the magazine.
Lock the changer door.
Insert CDs or MDs.
Push the reset button on the control
panel or on the rotary commander
holder.
