Anwendung
Ziehl-Abegg Axialventilatoren der Baureihen FA, FB, FC, FE,
FL, FN, FH, FS, VR, VN mit integriertem Außenläufer-Asyn-
chronmotor sind keine gebrauchsfertigen Produkte, sondern
als Komponenten für Klima-, Be- und Entlüftungsanlagen
konzipiert. Eine spezielle Motorauslegung ermöglicht die
Drehzahlsteuerung durch Spannungsabsenkung. Bei Betrieb
an Frequenzumrichtern beachten Sie die Hinweise im
Abschnitt Betriebsbedingungen.
Die Ventilatoren dürfen erst betrieben werden, wenn
sie ihrer Bestimmung entsprechend eingebaut sind
und die Sicherheit durch Schutzeinrichtungen nach
DIN EN ISO 13857 (DIN EN ISO 12 100) oder sonstige
bauliche Schutzmaßnahmen sichergestellt ist.
Sicherheitshinweise
•
Die Ventilatoren sind zur Förderung von Luft oder luftähn-
lichen Gemischen bestimmt. Der Einsatz in explosionsge-
fährdeten Bereichen zur Förderung von Gas, Nebel,
Dämpfen oder deren Gemisch ist nicht zulässig. Die Förde-
rung von Feststoffen oder Feststoffanteilen im Förderme-
dium ist ebenfalls nicht zulässig.
•
Montage, elektrischen Anschluss und Inbetriebnahme nur
von ausgebildetem Fachpersonal (Denition nach DIN EN
50 110, IEC 364) vornehmen lassen.
•
Gefahr durch elektrischen Strom! Der Rotor ist weder
schutzisoliert noch schutzgeerdet nach DIN EN 60204-1,
daher muss durch den Errichter der Anlage der Schutz
durch Hindernisse oder durch Anordnung außerhalb des
Handbereichs nach DIN VDE 0100-410 Anhang B vorge-
sehen werden, bevor der Motor an Spannung gelegt wird.
•
Betreiben Sie den Ventilator nur in den auf dem Typen-
schild angegebenen Bereichen und nur für die, laut Ihrer
Bestellung, bestimmungsgemäßen Anwendung.
•
Ziehl-Abegg Ventilatoren können, bei bestimmungsge-
mäßem Gebrauch, bis zu einer Umgebungstemperatur von
-40°C eingesetzt werden. Bei einem Einsatz unterhalb -
10°C und max. -40°C ist es Voraussetzung, dass keine
außergewöhnlichen äußeren Einwirkungen wie, stoßartige
mechanische Belastungen auf das Material einwirken. Bei
1~ Motoren mit Betriebskondensator bis -25°C. Beachten
Sie die maximale Umgebungstemperatur auf dem Typen-
schild.
•
Die max. zul. Betriebsdaten auf dem Typenschild gelten für
eine Luftdichte ρ = 1,2 kg/m
•
In die Wicklung eingebaute Temperaturwächter (TB) oder
Kaltleiter arbeiten als Motorschutz und müssen ange-
schlossen werden!
•
Bei Ausführung mit Kaltleiter zulässige Prüfspannung max.
2,5 V beachten!
•
Bei Motoren ohne Temperaturwächter ist zwingend ein
Motorschutzschalter zu verwenden!
•
Die Einhaltung der EMV-Richtlinie gilt in Verbindung mit
unseren Regel- und Steuergeräten. Werden die Ventila-
toren mit Komponenten anderer Hersteller komplettiert, so
ist der Hersteller oder Betreiber der Gesamtanlage für die
Einhaltung der EMV-Richtlinie 2004/108/EG verantwortlich.
•
Beachten Sie die Hinweise zu Instandhaltung und Wartung.

Application
Ziehl-Abegg axial fans of the series FA, FB, FC, FE, FL, FN,
FH, FS, VR, VN with integrated external rotor asynchro-
nous motor are not ready-to-use products, but designed as
components for air-conditioning, air supply and air extraction.
A special motor design makes the speed control by voltage
reduction possible. By operation with frequency inverters see
the notes in the section Operating Conditions.
The fans may only be operated when they are
installed as intended, and when safety is ensured by
safety equipment according to DIN EN ISO 13857
(DIN EN ISO 12 100) or by other protection measures.
Safety information
•
The fans are only intended for the transfer of air or air-like
mixtures. They must not be used in hazardous areas for the
transfer of gas, mist vapours or mixtures. Nor must they be
used for the transfer of solid components in the transfer
medium.
•
Mounting, electrical connection and commissioning must
only be carried out by trained personnel (denition in DIN
EN 50 110 or IEC 364).
•
Danger of electrical current! The rotor is not protected by
insulation nor grounded to earth in accordance with DIN EN
60204-1, and for this reason the system constructor must
provide protection in the form of obstacles or a location
outside the handling area in accordance with DIN VDE
0100-410, Attachment B, before the motor is connected to
a power source.
•
The fan is only to be operated within the ranges specied
on the type plate! Use the fan only in the authorised fashion
and only for the tasks and ow media specied in the order!
•
Ziehl-Abegg fans can be operated at ambient temperatures
down to -40°C when used properly. When used below -
10°C and max. -40°C it is a prerequisite that no unusual
external inuences such as abrupt mechanical stresses
affect the material. For 1~ motors with a service capacitor
down to -25°C observe the maximum ambient temperature
stated on the type label.
•
The maximum permissible operating data given on the
rating plate are valid from air density ρ = 1.2 kg/m
•
The temperature monitors (TB) or PTC resistors built into
the winding serve as the motor protection and must be
connected!
•
In models using PTC's, comply with the permissible test
voltage max. 2.5V!
•
For motors without temperature monitors a motor protection
switch obligatory must be used!
•
The EMC guideline is to be observed in connection with our
control units. If the fans are completed with components of
other manufacturers, the manufacturer or operator of the
entire plant is responsible for keeping to the EMC guideline
2004/108/EG.
•
Pay attention to the notes which concerning maintenance
and service.
•
These operating instructions are part of the product and, as
such, are to be kept accessible at all times.
