Setting Up Your Camera

Pre-Installation Checklist

1. Insert a fully charged camera battery.
2. Insert a properly formatted memory card.
3. Remove any attached lanyard or neck strap.
4. Remove the camera's external flash if attached.

Camera Settings

•
Set Red-Eye Removal to OFF.
•
Set Shutter AF to ON.
•
Set Half Press Release to OFF.
•
Set Quick AF to ON.
•
Set Eye Sensor AF to OFF.
•
Set AF Assist Lamp to OFF.
•
Set Focus/Release Priority to FOCUS.
•
Set Filter Effects to OFF when using an external strobe.
