EL 4 is a point level sensor with partly insulated conductive electrode for level detection. EL 4 is very rugged and can be used in all areas of industrial process technology. Pressure/Vacuum The process fitting must be sealed if there is gauge or low pressure in the vessel. - Page 10 Measuring probe Plastic sleeve at the probe end or laterally mounted Inflowing medium If EL 4 is mounted in the filling stream, unwanted false measurement signals can be generated. For this reason, mount EL 4 at a position in the vessel where no disturbances, e.g. from filling openings, agitators, etc., can occur. This applies particularly to instrument versions with a longer probe.
