Welcome
This quick guide takes you through the initial setup of your EGO TALK.
Please refer to your mobile phone operating instruction to familiarize
yourself with its Bluetooth functions. Please check the EGO TALK phone
supported list (available at www.egohandsfree.com) to make sure your
phone is compatible with the unit prior to installation.

Bluetooth
1. Turn on your ignition
hands-free 2. Search for Bluetooth devices with your mobile phone
3. Connect to the EGO TALK
pairing
4. Enter the pass key "0000" (if required)
5. Check that both, the red and green LED's are on. If not, delete all
saved EGO TALK pairings from your mobile phone, turn off your
ignition and start over.
Bluetooth
1. Turn on your ignition
2. Search for Bluetooth devices with your Bluetooth music source
music pairing
(e.g. mp3 player or mobile phone)
3. Connect to the EGO TALK
4. Enter the pass key "0000" (if required)
Note: Some phones automatically pair the Bluetooth music connection during hands-free pairing.

Green LED blinks in 5 sec intervals > no device connected
i ndicators
Green and Red permanently on > device is connected
Only green on > music mode active
Red on and green blinks > active call
Green on and red off for a moment > music playback stopped
Hands-free mode
Button

Redial, privacy mode
End a call
Reject an incoming call
Toggle between hands-free and music mode
Activate phone's voice commands*
* Works only with voice activated mobile phones.
