AFETY NSTRUCTIONS Your UltraComfort Power Lift Chair is a medical device. Therefore, you are required to exercise caution when operating it to ensure your personal safety and that of others around you. The following are rules for safe operation of your UltraComfort Power Seat Lift Chair. - Page 4 AKING OWER ONNECTIONS IN HAIR Models UC210, UC320, UC540-S, UC540-M, UC540-L, UC550-S, UC550-M, UC550-L, UC620, UC660, UC770, UC780, UC990 1. Remove AC/DC adapter (transformer) from packaging located under base of chair. 2. Place two 9 volt alkaline batteries (not included) into the slots provided. Install the wire connections on each battery.
- Page 5 Making Power Connection in Your New Lift Chair Model UC540-XL 1. Install two 9 volt alkaline batteries in the inline battery holder on the power cable as shown for battery backup as shown. L.E.D. light (batteries not included) 2. Remove the transformer from the transformer box, install two 9 volt batteries and plug the chair into a 115-120V 60Hz A.C.

To recline your chair, press the down button (S2) and hold until you reach your desired position. Then release the button. 2. To return to a seated position from recline, press the up button (S1) and hold until the chair returns to a closed seated position.

Then release the button. 2. To bring the back of the chair to an upright position, press button (S2) and hold until the back reaches the desired position.

Battery Back Up System Your Ultra Comfort power lift chair comes with a battery back up system so the chair can return to the seated position in the event of a household power failure. The batteries have enough energy to bring the chair to a seated position from either recline or lift. - Page 10 UltraComfort shall not be responsible or obligated to pay for any costs or expenses for examination of any warranted part nor is UltraComfort (or any affi liate) to pay for costs for transportation, handling and packaging of the parts or components.

CAUTION READ BEFORE OPERATING FAILURE TO DO SO MAY VOID WARRANTY Chair must be placed to allow free movement between: BACK of CHAIR and WALL FOOTREST and any object in FRONT of CHAIR Keep children, pets and foreign objects from back of chair or underneath chair and from in front of footrest while operating chair.
