Before you connect a module, make sure that it is disconnected from the power supply.
The procedure for connecting the front connector modules is basically the same as for the
standard front connectors. Connecting the standard front connectors is described in detail in
the manual "S7-300 CPU 31xC and CPU 31x: Installation"

Before connecting the front connector modules, read the following sections of the manual:
● Requirements for wiring the S7-300
● Connecting the mounting rail with a protective conductor
● Wiring the front connector
● Connect shielded wires to the shield connection element
