3.3. INSTALLATION

Before installation and start-up of the filter thoroughly check the filter for damages.
Recommendation. Install the ball valves in the filter inlet and outlet for convinient filter
maintenance.
To make leakproof of threaded connections use teflon tape or nylon cord.
After installation of the filter turn on the water carefully and make sure the connections are leak-
tight. In case of leaks in threaded connections screw them with special wrench or with your hands.
ATTENTION!
To provide filter's correct operation and prevent accidents due to pressure hammers the manufac-
turer recommends to apply pressure regulator that is installed into the water line before the filter.
You can buy the product in specialized sanitary ware stores.
Recommended: Honeywell, models D05, D06.
Design of the filter provides convenience of system connection to water supply mains and drain.
To connect to inlet and outlet ports located in the back of the filter, disconnect the union and pull
the pipe back*.
* Do the same actions while changing cartridges.
