Data writing to the disc or card has failed.
≥ There are no images recorded on the disc or card.

If this message appears when a disc is inserted, the disc may
be unrecordable. It is recommended that you use Panasonic
discs, since their compatibility with this unit has been confirmed.

A finalized DVD-RW (Video format) or DVD-R has been
inserted. After finalizing, the discs become play-only and cannot
record. If you un-finalize a DVD-RW (Video format), it can be
used for recording. (l 197)
The disc is full or the number of scenes has reached the
maximum limit so no further data can be recorded. Delete
unnecessary scenes (l 177) or insert a new disc.
The temperature of the unit is high so it cannot be operated.
Turn off the power, wait until the unit cools and then turn on the
power again.
DVD-R cannot be un-finalized.
DVD-RW (VR format) cannot be un-finalized. DVD-RW (VR
format) after finalization can be recorded and edited in the same
way as DVD-RW (VR format) before finalization.
