6.2.4 Wireless LAN Advanced Setup

To configure advanced wireless settings, click the Advanced Setup
button in the General screen. The screen appears as shown.

DESCRIPTION
Enter a value between 0 and 2432.
It is the maximum data fragment size that can be sent. Enter a value
between 256 and 2432.
Select a preamble type. Choices are Long, Short or Dynamic. The
default setting is Long. See the appendix for more information.
Select 802.11b Only to allow only IEEE 802.11b compliant WLAN devices
to associate with the WiMAX Modem.
Select 802.11g Only to allow only IEEE 802.11g compliant WLAN devices
to associate with the WiMAX Modem.
Select Mixed to allow either IEEE 802.11b or IEEE 802.11g compliant
WLAN devices to associate with the WiMAX Modem. The transmission rate
of your WiMAX Modem might be reduced.
Click Apply ( 套用 ) to save your changes back to the WiMAX Modem.
Click Cancel ( 重設 ) to reload the previous configuration for this screen.
Click this to return to the previous screen without saving changes.
