Set the email address that you use to send messages
Verify that your BlackBerry® device is associated with more than one email address.
1. In the device options, click Advanced Options.
2. Click Message Services.
3. Set the Messaging (CMIME) field.
4. Press the Menu key.
5. Click Save.
Delete the disclaimer from a message
If your BlackBerry® device is associated with an email account that uses the BlackBerry Enterprise
Server version 4.0 or later, your system administrator might apply a disclaimer to the top of your email
messages. This disclaimer is added after your email message is sent. You cannot edit the disclaimer.
1. In the message, press the Menu key.
2. Click Remove Disclaimer.
To add the disclaimer again, press the Menu key. Click Add Disclaimer.
Use color to differentiate work messages from other messages
Verify that your BlackBerry® device is integrated with an account that uses the BlackBerry Enterprise
Server.
1. In the device options, click Security Options.
2. Click General Settings.
3. Perform one or more of the following actions:
• To set a background color for email messages that are sent to your device through your
BlackBerry Enterprise Server, set the Enterprise Messages field.
• To set a background color for messages that are sent to your device through a method other
than your BlackBerry Enterprise Server, set the Other Messages field.
4. Press the Menu key.
5. Click Save.
Note: If your organization has set a corporate encryption key for PIN messages, PIN messages that
are sent to your device appear with the color set in the Enterprise Messages field and not the color set
in the Other Messages field.

Turn off the prompt that appears before you delete items
1. In the calendar, address book, task list, memo list, or a message list, press the Menu key.
2. Click Options.
3. Set the Confirm Delete Option to No.
4. Press the Menu key.
5. Click Save.
