If your BlackBerry® device is associated with a Microsoft® Outlook® email account, your email
messages in personal folders can only be reconciled using the BlackBerry Desktop Software. See the
BlackBerry Desktop Software Online Help for more information.
Email messages are not being deleted over the wireless network
1. Try performing one of the following actions
• If you have deleted multiple email messages using Delete Prior, the email messages are not
deleted during wireless email reconciliation. Select a group of messages and press the
Backspace/Delete key.
• Verify that you have set the Delete On field to Mailbox & Handheld.
Organizer data is not synchronizing over the wireless network
1. Try performing the following actions:
• Verify that your BlackBerry® device is connected to the wireless network.
• Verify that wireless data synchronization is turned on in the calendar, address book, task list,
and memo list.

Browser troubleshooting

No browser is available on my device
1. Try performing the following actions:
• Verify that your BlackBerry® device is connected to the wireless network.
• The location and name of the browser on your BlackBerry device might change depending on
your theme. See the printed documentation that came with your device for more information.

Media troubleshooting

I cannot fast forward or rewind a song
The ability to fast forward or rewind a song is not supported.
I cannot open a media file on my media card
Try performing the following actions:
• If you are attemping to access the media card through the Media application and your BlackBerry®
device is connected to your computer, turn off mass storage mode or disconnect your device from
the computer.
• If you are attempting to access the media card through mass storage mode, verify that you have
closed the Media Manager component of the BlackBerry Desktop Software. You cannot access the
media card through the Media Manager and mass storage mode simultaneously.
• If you encrypted the media files on your media card using the device key and you are trying to
open the media files using a device other than the one that you used to encrypt the files, insert
