the actual number that is used to make and receive calls.

Voice dialing troubleshooting

I cannot make a call using a voice command
1. Try performing the following actions:
• Verify that your BlackBerry® device is connected to the wireless network.
• Verify that your BlackBerry device has an adequate level of wireless coverage.
• If you are using a Bluetooth® enabled device, such as a handsfree car kit or wireless headset,
verify that the device supports this feature and that you have paired the Bluetoothdevice with
your BlackBerry device.
• If your keyboard is locked and you have not set a device password, unlock your keyboard.
• Change the voice dialing language. In the device options, click Language. Set the Voice
Activated Dialing Language field. Press the Menu key. Click Save.
My device does not recognize names or numbers in a voice command
1. Try performing the following actions:
• Say the first name and then the last name of your contact.
• Use the standard pronunciation rules of the language on your device.
• If your device does not usually find a match for a contact or phone number, in the device
options, click Voice-Activated Dialing. Set the Sensitivity field closer to Reject Less.
Press the Menu key. Click Save.
• If your device responds easily to background noise or often suggests a different contact or
phone number, in the device options, click Voice-Activated Dialing. Set the Sensitivity
field closer to Reject More.
• Help your device recognize the way you say certain numbers. In the device options, click
Voice-Activated Dialing. Press the Menu key. Click Adapt Digits. Complete the
instructions on the screen.

Camera troubleshooting

I cannot save pictures
Your BlackBerry® device memory or media card might not have enough available memory to save
pictures.
1. Try performing the following actions:
• If you are trying to save a picture to your device memory, delete old data or messages from
your device.
• If you are trying to save a picture on your media card, delete old media files.
• In the camera options, verify that the Quality field is not set to High. High-quality pictures
use more memory than lower-quality pictures.
