Switching off for longer peri-
ods of time
If, during a long absence, the wine
unit is switched off, but not cleaned,
and the door left shut, there is a
danger of mould building up inside
the appliance.
The wine unit must be cleaned.
If the wine unit is not going to be used
for a longer period of time, e.g. whilst
on holiday:
 switch it off,
 switch off at the wall and withdraw
the plug from the socket, or discon-
nect the mains fuse,
 clean the wine unit, and
 leave the door ajar to air the wine unit
and avoid odours building up inside
it.
