1.1.3 Using the battery

Standby and talk time provided by the manufacturer for this phone are
based on optimal conditions. During actual use, talk time and standby
time will change according to the network status, environment & usage
method.
Notice
Standby time will be decreased by playing the phone games
for a long period of time. To minimize battery usage during game
play, adjust backlight display time to prolong standby time.

1.1.4 Battery charge level

The battery charge level is shown at the top right of the LCD screen. The
more indicator bars inside the battery icon - the more power in the battery.

1.2 Connecting to the network

1.2.1 UIM card

The network service provider provides the UIM card. An effective UIM
card must be inserted into the mobile phone before it can be used.
Notice: Using UIM cards that have been previously used in other
mobile phones and contain saved information (such as the contacts,
messages, etc.), may not be compatible with the C1000 mobile
phone due to different mobile phone coding formats.
To prevent lost or destroyed information in UIM cards, avoid
touching the metallic area and keep the UIM card away from
electricity and magnetic fields. If the UIM card is destroyed, the
phone can not enter the CDMA network.
