1. GETTING STARTED
Thank you for choosing the HaierC1000. This manual is written to explain
the functions of your new mobile phone. Apart from basic call functions,
the C1000 mobile phone and network system provides numerous
functions, applications and services to enrich both work and social use.
The C1000 mobile phone is specially designed for the CDMA1X network.
With the increasing development of CDMA1X network, C1000 users will
have freedom to communicate - any time, anywhere.
We have provided special accessories for your new C1000 including:
battery, travel charger.
More details regarding these accessories can be referred to in Section 12
in the user manual. There may be with risks with using accessories that
have not been approved by the manufacturer, and, the phone damage
may be caused by using accessories not covered by the scope of the
guarantee.
The company reserves the right to amend any technical specifications
without releasing notice.
Before using the mobile phone, read this Section carefully, it will instruct
you how to install, charge and maintain the battery of your mobile phone.
In addition, it also provides information relating to the digital CDMA1X
network, and shows how to insert and remove the UIM CARD.

1.1 Battery

The C1000 mobile phone comes with one battery. The new battery is not
fully charged but can support the power on function. Before the initial use
of a new battery, charge it for at least 16 hours, and recharge it only when
the battery power is fully discharged for the first and second charge times.
These initial three charge times, are essential to the optimization of
ongoing battery performance.
