5.2. CN1 TERMINAL BOARD

5.2.1. O
B
pen
Terminals "OPB & COM". Normally open contact. Connect any pulse generator (i.e. push-
button, key selector, etc.) to these terminals which, closing the contact, must command a
partial opening of the gate.
Total opening always has priority over partial opening of the gate.
Partial opening of the gate corresponds to about 50% of the travel memory stored
during programming.
If there are several pulse generators, they must be connected in parallel.
5.2.2. O
A
pen
Terminals "OPA & COM". Normally open contact. Connect any pulse generator (i.e. push-
button, key selector, etc.) to these terminals which, closing the contact, must command
a total opening of the gate. The operation of this input depends on dip-switch 5 (see
paragraph 7).
If there are several pulse generators connected to this input, they must be connected
in parallel.
5.2.3. FSW
pHOtOcellS
Terminals "FSW & COM". Normally closed contact. Connect any safety device
(i.e. photocells) to these contacts. They can be active during the gate closing
movement or during both operations (opening and closing) according to the
dip-switch 4 position (see paragraph 7). The operation of the safety devices is described in
the function logic tables - paragraph 13. The status of this input is signalled by LED "FSW".
If there are several safety devices, they must be connected in series.
If safety devices are not connected, these two terminals must be
jumper-connected.
5.2.4. S
tOp
Terminals "STOP & COM". Normally closed contact. Connect any pulse generator (i.e. push-
button, key selector, etc.) to these terminals which, opening the contact, must command the
immediate stop of the gate, disabling any automatic function. The gate resumes its normal
programmed cycle only after an OPEN impulse. The status of this input is signalled by LED "STOP".
If there are several pulse generators, they must be connected in series.
If no STOP devices are connected, these two terminals must be jumper-connected.
5.3. CN2 TERMINAL BOARD
5.3.1. m
OtOr pOWer Supply
Terminals "OP & CL". Connect the motor power cable to these terminals.
5.3.2. F
lASHing lAmp
Terminals "LAMP & COM -". Connect the flashing lamp with 24Vdc power supply
to these terminals. During the programming phase the flashing lamp lights on a
steady beam. It goes off at the end of the programming operation.
Use a steady beam flashing lamp, the flashing is controlled by the control
unit.
5.3.3. p
OWer Supply FOr
Terminals "24V+ & COM -". Use these terminals to feed external accessories.
The maximum load which may be applied to these terminals is 500 mA.
The output of these terminals is DC, observe the power supply polarity of
the accessories.
5.3.4.
pOWer Supply FOr BAtterieS
Terminals "+BAT & -BAT". Connect to these terminals any buffer batteries (optional)
of common type, lead batteries, not exceeding 4Ah. Refer to paragraph 5.5 for the operation of the battery kit and of the
recharge circuit.
