SINETPLAN

SINETPLAN (https://www.siemens.com/sinetplan), the Siemens Network Planner, helps you
plan automation systems and networks based on PROFINET. The tool facilitates the
professional and predictive dimensioning of your PROFINET system right from the planning
stage. SINETPLAN also assists with network optimization and helps you to make the best
possible use of network resources and to plan for reserves. This allows you to avoid
problems in commissioning and failures during productive operation even before planned
use. This increases the availability of the production plant and helps improve operational
safety.

● The IO check is a rapid test of the wiring and the module configuration of a plant.
