Introduction

WARNING!
Do not drive with visibility reduced
by fog, condensation, or frost on the
windshield. Your view may be ob-
scured, which may result in death,
personal injury, equipment or prop-
erty damage. For clear visibility and
safe driving it is extremely impor-
tant for you to follow the instructions
pertaining to the function and use
of the ventilation/heating and defog-
ging/defrosting system. If in doubt,
consult your dealer. Maximum heat-
ing output and fast defrosting can be
obtained only after the engine has
reached operating temperature.

WARNING!
Exhaust fumes from the engine con-
tain carbon monoxide, a colorless
and odorless gas. Do not breathe
the engine exhaust gas. A poorly
maintained, damaged or corroded
exhaust system can allow carbon
monoxide to enter the cab. Entry of
carbon monoxide into the cab is also
possible from other vehicles nearby.
Failure to properly maintain your ve-
hicle could cause carbon monoxide
to enter the cab, resulting in death or
personal injury.
