You Need Roadside
Assistance
Call toll-FREE 1-800-4-PETERBILT
(1-800-473-8372) to talk to someone
at the PACCAR Customer Center.
Open 24-7-365 days a year
They can help you get roadside
assistance.
They have a custom mapping
system which locates Peterbilt
dealers and Independent Service
Providers (ISPs) near you and lists
(03/17)
types of services offered, hours of
operation and contact information.
They can assist with jump and
pull starts, tires, trailers, fines and
permits, chains, towing, hazardous
clean-up, out of fuel (roadside),
mechanical repairs and preventive
maintenance services.
They have bilingual agents and
access to a translation service
to ensure quality assistance
for customers who speak any
language.
They can't answer your warranty
questions but can get you in
contact with a Peterbilt dealer who
can.
The PACCAR Customer Center
service is FREE even if you don't
drive a Peterbilt.

WHAT TO DO IF...

Low Air Alarm Turns On

1.
Slow down carefully.
2.
Move a safe distance off the road
and stop.
3.
Place the transmission in
neutral (park with automatic
transmissions, if equipped) and
set the parking brake. (Refer
to Parking Brake Valve on
page 4-43 and Operating the
Transmission on page 4-22, for
transmission shifting and parking
brake information.)
4.
Turn OFF the engine.
5.
Turn ON the emergency flasher
and use other warning devices to
alert other motorists.
