PROBLEM

PROBLEM
Noisy airlock.
Airlock stalls.
Air loss through airlock.

CAUSE
Not enough air ow.
Plugged screen.
Low oil level.
Poor connections.
Lines wearing.
Excessive RPM speed.
Blower oil lacking.
Belts slipping.
Power source slowing.
CAUSE
Rotor hitting case.
Airlock jammed.
Tips too tight.
Faulty airlock rotor.
Faulty airlock drive.
Tip clearance too large.
SOLUTION
Open air slide nozzle to provide more
air.
Clean screen.
Add oil as required.
Tighten and seal all connections.
Eliminate elbows. Keep lines as
straight as possible and provide a
large radius for bends.
Decrease air ow by slowing blower or
increasing size of lines.
Increase grain quantity by closing
airslide.
Change oil - contact dealer.
Tighten belts.
Check power source.
SOLUTION
Replace bearings.
Reverse airlock direction to clear.
Remove receiver tank lid or remove
entire receiver tank. Remove obstruc-
tion from airlock.
Loosen bolts. Refer to airlock mainte-
nance.
Rotor damaged. Repair or replace
airlock.
Repair or replace drive.
Adjust tips (see 5.2.7).
