Humidity Sensor
The humidity sensor is a plug-in device located in the air
exhaust duct near the top left-hand corner of the cavity
behind the grill assembly.
The sensor detects humidity during the cooking process.
Humidity Sensor Removal
1. Disconnect power to microwave.
2. Remove grill assembly, see "Grill Assembly"
procedure.
3. Discharge high voltage capacitor, see "High Voltage
Capacitor" procedure.
4. Remove screws securing sensor to chassis.
5. Label and disconnect wire terminal plug and replace
with new sensor.
6. Reassemble in reverse order.
Low Voltage Transformer
The high voltage transformer is located on the PCB
assembly and supplies low voltage power to the
microwave components.
Low Voltage Transformer Removal
1. Disconnect power from microwave.
2. Remove p.c. board, see "P.C. Board Removal"
procedure.
3. Label and disconnect wire leads from transformer.
4. Remove screws securing low voltage transformer to
p.c. board assembly.
5. Reassemble in reverse order.
