8.1 Troubleshooting the electrical system

Risk of injury or damage
For squeeze detection errors the CPR / Reset function will overrule the squeeze detection and move the wings down.
– Make sure no objects are interfering with the wings when moving down, before resetting a squeeze detection
error (E05, E06 and E07)

- 1st acoustic signal when
disconnected from power
supply OR the emergency
stop is activated. The
system switches to battery
mode and the wings will
stop moving and stay in
current position.
- 2nd acoustic signal after
20 min.
- 3rd acoustic signal after
40 min.
- After 60 min the system
switches to low battery
error (E04).
- 1st acoustic signal when
the battery is detected to
be low while in battery
mode.
- Further acoustic signals
occur every 20 min until
the system turns off to
save battery power for
one CPR lowering.
The wing on the side of
squeeze detection will
elevate to 30° and the
opposite wing will move
to horizontal position.
- Wing(s) below 12°
degree will elevate to 12°.
- Wing above 12° will
elevate to 30°
Although the system
is connected to power
supply it can not be
turned on.
Troubleshooting
Solution
Check the cables to and from
the motor for the following:
- Cable undamaged.
- Cable correctly connected to
motor.
- Cable connector correctly
installed and intact.
Connect to power supply
AND / OR
deactivate the emergency stop
to charge and check the battery
(refer to chapter Maintenance
for further information).
Check if any objects are
interfering with the wings when
moving down and remove.
See the following CAUTION
before resetting these errors
Check if the emergency stop
is activated and deactivate if
necessary.
